FBI Director Christopher Wray finally agreed to allow members of Congress to view an unclassified document next Monday on Capitol Hill after weeks of threats from Republican lawmakers.

The FD-1023 document allegedly links President Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme, a House Oversight Committee spokesperson told Breitbart. “The document is a record of an interview the FBI conducted with an informant, and allegedly details an arrangement involving an exchange of money for policy decisions between now-President Joe Biden and a foreign national.”

“Chairman Comer will receive a briefing from the FBI and review the document on Monday. Chairman Comer has been clear that anything short of producing the FD-1023 form to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with his subpoena,” the spokesperson told Breitbart. “This unclassified record contains pages of details that need to be investigated further by the House Oversight Committee.”

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Wray held a planned meeting on Wednesday during which the bureau chief verified the existence of the document.

According to reports, the form purportedly contains information about a supposed arrangement involving a financial exchange for policy decisions between current President Biden and a foreign individual, Breitbart News reported.

But Comer also noted in an announcement that Wray is still refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena to turn over the unclassified document, which is likely to result in a contempt of Congress charge.

“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national,” Comer noted in a statement. “However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee.”

“While Director Wray – after a month of refusing to even acknowledge that the form existed – has offered to allow us to see the documents in person at FBI headquarters, we have been clear that anything short of producing these documents to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with the subpoena,” Comer continued.

“If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, the House Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings,” he added.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) warned on Tuesday that Wray’s failure to produce the subpoenaed document would cause him to begin contempt proceedings.

The committee investigating allegations of improper foreign business transactions has also issued a subpoena for the records of a cellphone used by President Biden and reportedly paid for by his son, Hunter Biden.

In an interview, Peter Schweizer, who is known for his focus on political corruption, stated that the records in question were discovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop computer. The phone in question was reportedly utilized between 2009 and 2017, a period when the current president served as vice president.

“We obtained that phone number, and we’ve shared it with individuals and the Oversight Committee in Congress is going to subpoena those phone records. And what’s important here is that’s not a government phone, this is not Joe Biden’s private phone that he’s paying for himself. It’s actually [Hunter] Biden’s business that paid for it,” Schweizer told WABC’s Cats & Cosby.

“I think it’s going to yield a lot of interesting information as to who Joe Biden was talking to on this phone that was being paid for by his son,” Schweizer, author of several books on political corruption including, “Secret Empires: How Our Politicians Hide Corruption and Enrich Their Friends and Households,” told the hosts.

Comer revealed last week that an informant file he’s requested from the FBI details allegations that Biden is linked to a $5 million bribery scheme while he was vice president.

“The informant tip is dated June 30, 2020, Comer wrote — an additional clue in the mysterious allegation that triggered a guessing game due to the Biden family’s extensive consulting work in countries where the then-VP held sway. In a remarkable coincidence, Ukrainian officials held a press conference in Kyiv on June 13, 2020 — 17 days before the FBI tipoff — where they showed off $5 million in cash allegedly offered as a bribe to end an investigation of natural gas company Burisma’s founder Mykola Zlochevsky,” the New York Post reported.

Also, an IRS whistleblower who claims that the Department of Justice interfered with the IRS investigation into Hunter Biden has broken his silence as well.

“When I took control of this particular investigation, I immediately saw it was way outside the norm of what I’ve experienced in the past,” Gary Shapley, a 14-year IRS vet, told CBS News late last month.
